All the little tips and tricks. Burning the perfect candle...
Burning a candle or setting up your reed diffuser sounds (and it is) simple, but there are steps you can follow to keep the scent of your candles pure and enhance the reach of a reed diffuser. Read below...
How to burn the perfect candle?
- When you light a candle for the first time, make sure it burns for at least three hours. The wax has to burn to the edges to avoid tunnels.
- When the candle has cool down, trim the wick removing any debris. If you don't have a wick trimmer, which I assume is likely that you don't have one, you can use your nail clippers.
I recommend to burn a candle for a maximum of 5 hours at a time. If the candle burns for too long, the wick will accumulate carbon and you might start perceiving a slight burning smell.
Simple. Make sure you turn the reeds regularly (once a month to once a week for a stronger reach).
